Christodoulos Peltekis is a Digital Design and Verification Engineer with four years of combined industry and academic experience. At Smart Silicon, he contributes to the design and verification of digital IP cores for automotive-grade embedded systems, working on safety-critical projects that meet the strict standards of the automotive semiconductor industry.
His work includes formal verification of CAN bus protocols, RTL development of AMBA-based interconnect bridges (APB to AHB-Lite), and the design of Power Management Units (PMUs), finite state machines (FSMs) for system orchestration, and CRC monitoring modules to ensure bus integrity.
Christodoulos is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Democritus University of Thrace, where his research focuses on data-parallel hardware accelerators for machine learning. His academic contributions center on efficient and fault-tolerant architectures for Convolutional and Graph Neural Networks, including award-winning work on softmax reuse in transformer models.
His technical expertise spans SystemVerilog, VHDL, SystemC, Python, C/C++, and RISC-V Assembly, and he is proficient with a wide range of EDA tools including OneSpin, JasperGold, SpyGlass, Catapult HLS, and QuestaSim. He also works fluently with modern ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.”
